Who we are
Best Deal Motors Ltd ("we", "us") is the controller of the personal data collected through this website. Our address is Royal Road, Terre Rouge (Junction Long Mountain), New Complex, Mauritius. This statement explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have under the Data Protection Act 2017 of Mauritius.
What we collect
When you send us an enquiry we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address if you provide one, your preferred way of being contacted, your message, and any information specific to your request, such as a vehicle of interest, a preferred test drive date, details of a car you wish to exchange, an import brief or lease-related details. We also record the page you sent the enquiry from and technical information such as your IP address and browser type, which we use to prevent spam and abuse.
Why we use it
We use your details to respond to your enquiry, to arrange test drives and service bookings, to discuss leasing, imports and exchanges with you, and to keep a record of our dealings with you. We contact you by the method you prefer. We ask for your consent before you submit any form.
Who sees it
Your details are available to our staff who handle enquiries. We do not sell your personal data. We share it with others only where needed to deal with your request, for example with a leasing institution when you ask us to arrange a lease, or where the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses a cookie that is strictly necessary for its operation and security. If we enable analytics or advertising measurement tools, they may set their own cookies, and we will only use them to understand how the website is used.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as is needed to handle your request and our related business dealings, and as the law requires. After that they are deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You may ask to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, and to withdraw your consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Office of Mauritius.
